Blanche Blackington M.A., CCC-A
M.A., CCC-A

Blanche Blackington, M.A., CCC-A has been in private practice since 1990. She earned her Master's degree at San Diego State University (SDSU). She taught a graduate-level Audiology course at SDSU for several years. Blanche is a consultant for the Hearing Aid Dispenser's Bureau and is active in the licensing examination process. She is also on the Board for the California Academy of Audiology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Dispensing Audiologist, and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Blanche takes pride in the fact that her practice incorporates a 'patient first' philosophy.

Evelyn Smith
Au.D., FAAA

Evelyn Smith, Au.D.,FAAA, a native of San Diego since 2000, has been a practicing audiologist for over 11 years. She received her Doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, in 2004. Evelyn is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Evelyn is also licensed with the California Board of Audiology and California Hearing Aid Dispenser's Bureau, where she is active in the licensing process. Evelyn has experience in all areas of audiology, but her expertise is in hearing rehabilitation. Her goal is to use hearing solutions to provide a better quality fo life to her patients.

Darlynn Davis
Practice Manager

At our Clairemont location on Genesse Ave. you can Meet Darlynn Davis our Practice Manager. For the past 8 years now Darlynn has brought 20 years of medical management experience to the San Diego Hearing Center. She will answer all your insurance questions and help you get the most out of your experience in dealing with difficult to understand insurance benefit issues. Come and say hello and have all your insurance questions answered. Better hearing health is only an answer away.

Do your hearing aids just need routine maintenance (clean and check), tubing replaced or do you need to have questions answered? Tina's prompt attention at our Clairemont and Hillcrest location is why we stand by our motto, We Listen So You Can Hear!" Tina has successfully completed training with Nova Southeastern University, Audiologist Assistant program. She will be happy to assist you!
